This map shows the counties of Indiana as of the June 1820 federal census, and includes the unorganized “counties” of Delaware and Wabash, used as census districts in 1820 only. The present counties of these names were formed in 1827 and 1832 respectively. All of the counties shown in black have extant census manuscripts except for Daviess, shown as “lost” on the map.
