I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ll be speaking for the 2010 Virginia Beach Genealogical Society Annual Conference. I am scheduled to be there on March 20, 2010, and will be presenting at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The conference is titled “What’s New – Researching, Compiling, Preserving,” and I will present the following lectures:
- Organizing, Preserving, Accessing & Sharing Your Digital Documents & Pictures
- Blogging Your Genealogy
- USA State and Territorial Censuses & Substitutes
- Using Tax Records to Extend Your Genealogy
A number of exhibitors will be at the conference including my own Family Roots Publishing Company; Colonial Roots; Family History Research Society of Northeastern NC; Jigsaw Genealogy; Virginia Genealogical Society, the Afro-American Historical Society, and the Virginia Beach Genealogical Society.
