Hello and it’s finally summery here! I know some of you have been sweltering already but warmth and FLOWERS have been slow coming to Spokane. The Ponderosa Pines have the showiest and prettiest new growth…. don’t you agree? And the flower is a Lewisia, or Bitterroot, State Flower of Montana and documented on the Lewis & Clark expedition and named for Meriwether Lewis. It does splendidly in my garden, Zone 5. You might try it?
Maureen MacDonald same to Spokane this past week (grew up here) and righteously chided me for not sharing her question/request: “Are there others interested in royal ancestors? Do you trace back to royalty in Britain especially. Let’s plan to get together in December and compare notes.” Great idea; let’s hear from you.
Have you heard about the new search engine called Mocavo?? Dick Eastman wrote about it and I’ve tried it…. and got some results that I did not get with a Google search. Hummmmmm……… Click to Mocavo.com and try it for yourself and please do let me know your opinion, thumbs up or thumbs down.
Can you tell? I’ve typed this entirely with my left hand…. had carpal tunnel and trigger finger release fixed, finally. I’ll show you my scars if you ask!
Donna, aka Mother Hen, until next week.
