George Morgan Seminar to be Held in Quitman, Texas on August 5

Up-to-the-minute ideas on how to explore one’s family tree – for beginners and experienced researchers – will be presented by an internationally-recognized genealogy author and workshop speaker at a free public workshop during Old Settlers Reunion Week in Quitman, Wood County, Texas. George G. Morgan, president of Aha! Seminars, author of nine books and hundreds of genealogy articles in magazines, journals, newsletters, and online, will share his knowledge acquired in 40-plus years of genealogy research Friday, August 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Shamburger Room at the Quitman Public Library. The seminar is open to the general public, and members of East Texas genealogical societies are also encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is by calling 903-763-2535 or by email at wcgstx@gmail.com. The seminar is sponsored by the North East Texas Library System and the Quitman Public Library and hosted by the Wood County, Texas Genealogical Society.
