A different kind of conference is coming March 9–10, 2012 to the Temple Square area of Salt Lake City. Stories can be told many ways. Story@Home is dedicated to bloggers, genealogist, and storytellers looking to share their stories both in writing as well as verbally. Family histories are a key part of the story telling focus at this conference. The two day event features talks, lessons, a hands-on tech cafe, and includes musical and storytelling performances.
The first day features large group sessions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ enormous conference center theater. Day two will be held at the nearby Joseph Smith Memorial Building, with three tracts for bloggers, genealogists, and storytellers. Story@Home is sponsored by Cherish Bound, an online publisher with a focus on family histories and stories. Other sponsors include FamilySearch, the Ashton Family Foundation, and the Casual Blogger Network.
