This collection is being published as images become available. Tennessee Marriages 1796-1950 – Name index to marriage records from the state of Tennessee – 1,674,368 as of 22 March 2012 – up to 2,362 records as of 20 September 2011.
Washington State County Marriages 1858-1950 – Name index and images of the marriage records for Lewis, Wahkiakum, Thurston and Pacific Counties. This collection of marriage records includes: Lewis County marriage returns, 1914-1948; Wahkiakum County marriage certificates, 1907-1939; Thurston County marriage certificates, 1927-1950; and Pacific County marriage certificates, 1878-1947. The records are arranged chronologically. From the Washington State Archives – 48,385 records and 67,975 images as 22 March 2012.
Washington State County Records 1856-2009 – Browsable Imaged Records – The collection consists of various records including official actions, probate records, indexes, etc. The records are from various counties in Washington State, 1856-2009. This is an ongoing collection. The counties will be added to the collection as their records are available. Browse the collection to determine current record and county coverage. 1,924,830 images as of 22 March 2012.
[NEW] Washington, Pierce County Marriage Returns, 1891-1950 – Browsable Imaged Records – includes marriage records recorded in Pierce County, Washington. This collection is being published as images become available. 11,916 images as of 22 March 2012.
Pennsylvania, Philadelphia City Death Certificates, 1803-1915 – BrowsableImaged Records & Searchable Records – This collection has several types of records: 1) Death certificate 2) Death register 3) Return of Death with a hospital certificate, physician’s certificate, and an undertaker’s certificate, and 4) Transit Permit with the permit to move a body and an undertaker’s certificate concerning the move. The records give the name of the deceased plus the date and place of death and/or burial. The records may also give the date and place of birth, names of parents and spouse, cause of death, and other information. – 2,445,848 records and 1,859,860 images as of 22 March 2012 – up 1,303,005 images since 5 November 2010.
Utah, Box Elder County Records, 1856-1960 – Browsable images of county records, marriage, naturalization, military, probate and land and property located at the county courthouse in Brigham City, Utah – 68,348 images as of 14 February 2012, up 42,969 images from 25 January 2012.
Texas Deaths, 1977-1986 – Imaged Records – Images of Texas statewide death certificates, including delayed certificates, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in Austin. Additional certificates will be added to the collection as they become available. Certificates for 1978 are currently posted by county. 422,369 images as of 14 February 2012 – up 46,360 images since 23 January 2012.
North Carolina Estate Files 1663-1964 – Imaged Records – Index and images of estate files from North Carolina counties. The originals were filmed at the North Carolina Department of Archives and History. The estate records contain loose papers relating to the settlement of estates including such matters as provision for heirs including minor children as well as distribution of funds, land and property, including slaves – This project was indexed in partnership with the North Carolina Genealogical Society and Library – 57,942 48,267 indexed records and 1,371,566 1,121,227 images as of 19 February 2012 – up 9,675 records and 250,339 images since 14 January 2012.
New York Orange County Probate Records 1787-1938 – Imaged Records of probate records and estate files from the Orange County Surrogate’s Court in Goshen, New York. At this time this collection does not have a name index or any finding aid. – It is published by volume and year range – 462,253 images as of 22 February 2012 – up 102,303 images since 20 December 2011.
New York Queens County Probate Records, 1899-1921 – Images of probate records and proceedings from the Queens County Surrogate’s Court in Jamaica, New York. – 793,939 761,504 images as of 22 February 2012 – up 32,435 images since 27 January 2012.
Illinois Probate Records 1819-1970 – Browsable Imaged Records – Images of will books, administrations, journals, inventories, guardian’s records, and order books from various counties in Illinois. The content and time period will vary by county. Illinois created probate courts in 1819. This is a collection of probate records, which includes will, indexes, and other documents created to track the distribution of estates of deceased individuals who lived in Illinois. Probates were generally recorded in the county of residence. This collection covers probate records created by Illinois courts, 1819-1970, but the content and time period of the records will vary by county. A few additional county court records are also present. 891,377 images as of 22 February 2012 – up 116,940 images since 3 February 2012.
California, San Mateo County Records – 1856-1967 – Browsable Imaged Records – County records including marriage intentions, naturalization, deeds, patents, homesteads, and military service discharges – 883,705 images as of 10 February 2012 – up 936,279 images as of 23 February 2012 –up 700,041 images since 23 November 2011.
Florida Divorce Index 1927-2001 – Index of divorces from the Florida Department of Health in Jacksonville. Index provided by Ancestry.com. – 3,012,178 records as of 29 February 2012.
[NEW] Ohio, Death Index, 1908-1932, 1938-1944, and 1958-2007 – Imaged Records – Index of deaths from the Ohio Department of Health in Columbus. 7,601,864 records as of 2 March 2012.
I always peruse the things that are added by the LDS, I usually do not find much pertaining to my research. But, a few days ago, I clicked on the newest Irish Births and Marriages and I found the day my great great grandparents were married.
I was so excited and it wasn’t till I rechecked the record for its citation that I noticed mt 3x great grandparents (of the bride) were listed. I was even more excited then….
