The name of the Office of Information and Privacy has been changed to the Office of Information Policy. This new name reflects 
the current mission and function of the Office which is responsible for providing governmentwide policy guidance on implementation of the Freedom of Information Act. (Posted March 11, 2009 on the Dept. of Justice’s website.)
