FamilySearch Adds to United States Mexican War Index and Service Records; New Collection for United States Confederacy Navy and Marine Service Records
FamilySearch added 211,909 additional images records for the United States Mexican War Index and Service Records collection, which includes a large portion of the war’s 78,718 American servicemen. Other notable additions include 514,562 browsable images in the Netherlands, Groningen Province, Church Records collection from 1595-1864, and the 21,529 browsable images for the new United States Confederacy Navy and Marine Service Records collection from 1861-1865. Searchable historic records are made available on FamilySearch.org through the help of thousands of volunteers from around the world.
