The collection includes Ashe County School Censuses 1881-1903; Beaufort County Wills 1808-1968; Columbus County Estate Files 1812-1968; Duplin County Widows year support 1900-1968; Durham County Widow’s Dower & Year’s Support 1881-1944 (indexed in front of book); Gaston County Estates 1839-1971 & Wills 1847-1968 Vol. 38-41; Lincoln County Marriage Records 1892-1916; Mecklenburg County Estate Files 1880-1952; Northampton Coroner’s reports 1793-1905; Northampton County Estate Records 1782-1930; Richmond County Coroner’s inquests 1906-1967; Stanley County Coroner’s inquests 1914-1957; and Wake County Death Certificates 1900-1909 – 593,567 images as of 26 January 2013 – up 96,8689 since 17 May 2012.
Indiana Marriages 1811-1959 – Indexed in partnership with the Indiana Genealogical Society. Name index of marriages recorded in the Indiana Territory and in the State of Indiana between 1811 and 1959. This collection includes searchable index data for marriage returns and licenses from the following counties: Adams, Allen, Bartholomew, Benton, Blackford, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clark, Clay, Daviess, Dearborn, Decatur, De Kalb, Delaware, Dubois, Elkhart, Fayette, Floyd, Fountain, Franklin, Fulton, Gibson, Hamilton, Harrison, Hendricks, Henry, Huntington, Jackson, Jay, Jefferson, Jennings, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Lake, Lawrence, Marshall, Ohio, Owen, Rush, and Sullivan. Microfilm copies of original records are available at the Family History Library and at family history centers. Currently this collection is 54% complete. Additional records will be added as they are completed. – 2,184,579 2,149,087 records and 1,731,735 1,722,362 images as of 26 January 2013 – up 35,492 records and 9,373 images since 2 January 2013.
Washington State County Records 1856-2009 – Indexed Records and Browsable Images – Images and partial index of marriage records from Washington counties. The index includes marriage records for Clallam, Lewis, Pacific, Snohomish, Thurston, and Wahkiakum Counties. Images for both indexed and non-indexed counties are available in the browse. Additional records from other counties will be added to this collection as they become available — 48,385 records and 422,460 images as of 29 January 2013.
North Carolina Estate Files 1663-1979 – Imaged Records – Index and images of estate files from North Carolina counties. The originals were filmed at the North Carolina Department of Archives and History. The estate records contain loose papers relating to the settlement of estates including such matters as provision for heirs including minor children as well as distribution of funds, land and property, including slaves – This project was indexed in partnership with the North Carolina Genealogical Society and Library – 138,899 records and 3,371,321 images as of 29 January 2013; Up 15,959 records and 386,847 images since 25 September 2012.
Illinois Probate Records 1819-1970 – Browsable Images – Images of will books, administrations, journals, inventories, guardian’s records, and order books from various counties in Illinois. The content and time period will vary by county. Illinois created probate courts in 1819. This is a collection of probate records, which includes will, indexes, and other documents created to track the distribution of estates of deceased individuals who lived in Illinois. Probates were generally recorded in the county of residence. This collection covers probate records created by Illinois courts, 1819-1970, but the content and time period of the records will vary by county. A few additional county court records are also present. — 1,137,607 1,059,034 images as of 29 January 2013; up 78,573 images since 22 February 2012.
Wisconsin, Probate Estate Files, 1848-1935 – Browsable Images – Images of probate estate case files from various counties in Wisconsin. This collection includes Fond du Lac County (1848-1917), Green County (1848-1885), Jackson County (1897-1935), La Crosse County (1877-1935), Pepin County (1900-1935), Shawano County (1861-1933) and Trempealeau County (1900-1920). This collection is being published as images become available — 978,276 images as of 30 January 2013; up 106,398 images since 9 December 2012.
Vermont, Franklin County Probate Records, 1796 to 1921 – Browsable Imaged Records – Images of probate papers located at the Public Records Office, General Service Center, Middlesex. – 235,834 images as of 30 January 2013 – up 13,075images since 24 April 2012.
Utah Probate Records, 1851-1961 – Imaged Records – Collection of probate records, including case files and other documents created by the Probate Courts of various Utah counties. Probates were generally recorded in the county of residence. This collection is being published as images become available — 427,179 images as of 30 January 2013; up 335,914 images since 18 May 2012.
[NEW] Texas, Eastland County Records, 1868-1949 – Imaged Records – Records from Eastland County, Texas including Cemetery records, Chancery Court records, Circuit Court records, Commissioner’s Court records, Coroner’s records, County Court records, District Court records, Hospital records, Land and property records, Military records, Naturalization records, Pension records, Probate records, School records, Tax records, and Vital records. This collection is being published as images become available — 364,267 images available as of 30 January 2013.
Texas Birth Certificates, 1903-1935 – Indexed Records and Browsable Images– This collection contains digital images and an index of birth certificates for the state of Texas. The original records are housed at the Vital Statistics Unit of the Texas Department of Health in Austin — 2,278,910 records and 4,371,127 images as of 30 January 2012; up 527,134 records and 1,214,657 images since 27 September 2012.
Tennessee, Putnam County Records, 1854-1955 – Browsable Images – This collection includes records from the circuit and chancery courts of Putnam County. The records include disputed property and estates, wills, divorces and records of other civil proceedings — 143,999 images as of 30 January 2013; up 22,826 images since 27 November 2012.
[NEW] Oregon, Marion County Records, 1849-1976 – Browsable Images – Includes marriage, birth, land and property, probate, naturalization, tax and old age pension records from the Marion County Clerk. – 406,225 images as of 19 November 2012.
New York Queens County Probate Records, 1899-1921 – Browsable Images – Images of probate records and proceedings from the Queens County Surrogate’s Court in Jamaica, New York. – 1,752,108 images as of 30 January 2013; up 496,052images since 30 November 2012.
[NEW] Montana, Sweet Grass County Records 1885-2011 – Browsable Images – Birth, death, coroners, naturalization, probate including estate files and deed records from the Clerk of the District Court, County Clerk, and Recorder’s Offices in Big Timber. California, San Mateo County Records – 1855-1991 – Browsable Imaged Records – County records including marriage intentions (1856 to 1943), naturalizations, deeds, patents, homesteads, and military service discharges. [NEW] Montana, Sander County Records, 1866-2010 – Browsable Images – Images of county birth, death, marriage, veteran burials, voter, naturalization, land and probate records located in the county courthouse in Thompson Falls.- 55,148 images as of 31 January 2013.
[NEW] Maine, County Probate Records, 1760-1979 – Images – Images of county probate books. The record content and time period varies by county — 504,141 images as of 31 January 2013.
Louisiana, Orleans Parish Will Books, 1805-1920 – Browsable Images – The Will Books for Orleans Parish courts include copies of all wills filed in Orleans Parish, 1805-1920. The will books comprise 39 bound volumes. Each volume is individually indexed at the front of each book. The will books were created in several courts including the Court of Probates (1805-1846), Second District Court (1846-1880) and Civil District Court (1880-1920). Volume 31, No. 11 is missing; 23,456 images as of 31 January 2013; up 5,485 images since 30 November 2012.
Idaho, Twin Falls County Records, 1906-1988 – Browsable Images – Death index, probate index, marriages, deeds, homesteads, patents discharges, and coroner’s records from the Clerk of District Court, Clerk and Recorder offices in Twin Falls. This collection is being published as images become available — 180,915 images as of 31 January 2013; up 89,528images since 25 October 2012.
[NEW] Idaho, Butte County Records, 1882-1970 – Images – Land, marriage, and probate records from the county courthouse in Arco — 23,226 images as of 31 January 2013.
[NEW] Texas, County Marriage Records, 1837-1977 – Indexed Records and Images – Collection of various types of marriage records (registers, licenses, intentions to marry, etc.) from 183 of the 254 counties in Texas — 187,126 records and 131,927 images as of 1 February 2013.
[NEW] New York State Census 1955 – Indexed Records and Images – The population schedule for the 1855 New York state census records still in existence. Most counties are covered, but some records were destroyed. View the wiki or browse the collection to determine coverage — 594,539 records and 84,493 images as of 1 February 2013.
BillionGraves Index – Indexed Records – Name index of burial records courtesy of BillionGraves which is an expansive family history database of records and images from the world’s cemeteries, all tagged with GPS locations. Volunteers around the world capture images of headstones in a cemetery and upload them to the site; 2,664,703 records as of 1 February 2013; up 179,075 records since 26 December 2012.
[NEW] Vermont, Orange County, Randolph District Probate Records, 1790-1935 – Images – Images of probate estate files for Orange County, Randolph District located at the Division of Public Records in Middlesex. Each estate file consists of multiple images. The files are arranged by folder number then name. Folders 1-8 cover 1790-1890, folders 9-30 cover 1800-1840, etc. — 65,929 images as of 2 February 2013.
[NEW] Vermont, Orange County, Bradford District Probate Records, 1780-1915 – Images – Images of probate estate files from the Supreme Court of Vermont. The files are located at the Division of Public Records in Montpelier. The collection is divided into multiple parts, 1780-1800, 1800-1847, 1800-1810 and 1820-1830. — 75,694 images as of 6 February 2013.
Ohio County Births 1841-2003 – Indexed and Browsable Images – Name index and images of county birth records in Ohio. The time period and type of record varies by county — 3,378,538 records and 1,896,221 images as of 6 February 2013; up 558 images since 16 January 2013.
