Lewes, Delaware: Through a cooperative arrangement between the Sussex County Genealogical Society and the Lewes Public Library, more than 50 new titles on the history and genealogy of Sussex County and Delaware have been added to the library’s Delaware Collection for the benefit of local researchers.
The books were donated to the Genealogical Society by member Willard Saunders, and the society approached the library for help in making the collection available to the public. “Working with Sussex County libraries is an important part of the educational mission of the society,” said society President Diann Sherwin, “and we are eager to strengthen our relationship with the Lewes library.”
