It’s now Wednesday morning, and the National Genealogical Society Conference in Las Vegas is underway. I just happen to be setting in the Media Center, located in the Exhibit hall. The Media Center is set up in the corner of the hall and is hard-wired with Internet connections for NGS Official Bloggers. It is sponsored by Archives.com, and gives the bloggers a place to get online without having to work from the high-priced wi-fi in their rooms, or the free wi-fi for conference attendees, found elsewhere in the conference center.
Looking at the crowd starting to swell again in the hall, it looks like the first full session just let out – so I expect somewhere in the area of 1400+ folks to be packing the room most any minute now.
I plan to blog from the Media Center throughout the week, so expect much more.
