Alice Carter (Sturgis) Grady, 85, a resident of Spring Arbor Cottage of Raleigh, NC and former resident of Acton and Stow, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Alice was born November 17, 1927 in Portland, Maine, to William and Margaret Sturgis… Alice did extensive family genealogical research and published a quarterly newsletter, The Bogg’s Newsletter. In 1994 Alice moved to Acton, Massachusetts where she was a resident of Drummer Farms. She continued her involvement in the community by being a member of the Council on Aging, The Genealogical Round Table of Concord and the Old Concord Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
