Hallelujah and hooray, I think I’ve convinced a friend to join the Salt Lake Christmas Tour this coming December! Her name is Sandy and she’s from Florida………… remember her beautiful face to say hello when you meet her. Yes, she was a WAVE in the Navy.
What about YOU? You remember and realize that YOU earn 10% off your cost of the tour for each and every person you convince to join us??? You could bring ten people and you would come for free! Such a great deal Leland offers to us. To refresh your memory on the details of the tour, click to www.saltlakechristmastour.com. Or show that wonderful CD that Bill Balter made and have to us to share with our genealogy friends for just this reason.
Do you, or does your genealogical society, have a “lost” family Bible that has no family has yet claimed? My society has one and that set me to looking for a home. While I did not find a descendant, I found that the Godfrey Memorial Library will happily take the Bible and attempt to find it a home. Here’s a quote from James Billington, Librarian of Congress: “Unless you know what happened yesterday you cannot build a new tomorrow.”
