PROVO — The 45th annual Brigham Young University Conference on Family History and Genealogy will be July 30 through Aug. 2, at the BYU Conference Center, 770 E. University Parkway.

The conference offers 160 classes for family historians of all skill levels, according to a news release from organizers. A complete schedule can be viewed at familyhistoryconferences.byu.edu.
Keynote speakers include Elder Allan F. Packer, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Dennis C. Brimhall, managing director of the LDS Family History Department; and J. Mark Lowe, professional genealogist, lecturer and author.
The classes will cover a variety of categories and topics, including DNA research, accreditation training (ICAPGen), FamilySearch, international research, Google Genealogy, youth and genealogy, computers and technology, methodology, Ancestry.com, and FS Family Tree.
