Fire at the National Archives in Kew, London, UK

Kew-Fire

It seems that two water towers that were no longer being used caught fire at the British National Archives in Kew, London, England. About 20 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade were called out about 12:30 GMT and fought the blaze, which was extinguished.

The Archives holds about 11 million historical documents of national importance, some over 1,000 years old – inlcuding the Domesday book.
