For a number of months now, Bruce Buzbee has been allowing us to find out what features will be in RootsMagic Version 4 by way of a blog.
One of his users wanted to share the information about RootsMagic 4 with his genealogy society, so he compiled all of Bruce’s “unwrapped” blog articles into a downloadable PDF file.
The file is about 6MB. When you download it, if the file opens in your browser, click the save option in the browser’s PDF viewer to save the file. Or you can right click on the link above and choose the option to save the target and then save the file. It’s an astounding document. If you’re a RootsMagic fan, you’ll definitely want a copy.
Bruce is compiling a new edition of “Getting the Most Out of RootsMagic,” so you won’t have to count on the PDF file as your only documentation. I wonder what the spine of the new edition will say on it? (This is an inside joke. If you know why I added this line, leave a comment.)
Hi Lealand,
Welcome Back. Found you back this last weekend.
It had on the Volume 1 spine, “Getting the most out of Family Origins”
That’s it, Herb. Those of us who have a copy of the first edition of “Getting the Most Out of RootsMagic,” with that unique spine, call it our “collector’s edition.”
