Did you all get to see the eclipse last evening (Sunday, September 27th)? Experts tell us that this hasn’t happened for 20-some years and won’t happen again for 20-some years (or thereabouts). This was my in-expert photo of it.
And what does this have to do with the annual Salt Lake Christmas Tour? Last evening we had the opportunity to see this, and the weather gods were kind and gave us clear skies, and we took the time to go to a viewing place to have the experience.
In two months……… 60 days………… you will have the opportunity to come to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. No matter if the weather gods bring snow, you will be coming to a viewing place to (first find!) and view records of your ancestors. Just like the eclipse, they may hide for 20 years but not forever!!
And we will give you help! And we will give you a tour shirt! And we will give you classes! And we will give you breakfast! And we will give you hugs! Could a genealogist ask for more???
If you’re undecided about whether or not to come, remember: Your pesky deadend ancestor has hidden for 20 years but now, in light of the eclipse, they will be found. This tour has an 80% track record for extending pedigree lines.
