The last 7 months have been hard, but Patty and I are nearly fully recovered from the long-term effects of having Covid. The virus seems to affect everyone differently. In my case, it resulted in extreme fatigue and brain fog as the worst of my long-term symptoms. There are other issues with my eyes (which swelled up, then didn’t go back to the same as before), as well as continued bone and muscle pain.
I am posting this blog from our RV, parked in a beautiful spot near Orting, Washington. I’ve found that I can work out here, and may actually get more done, away from the hectic pace of our home and office downtown. The less stress I am under, the better I seem to be able to perform.
We have a garden producing nicely here – as well as downtown.
Whatever you do, protect yourself and do all you can “not to get” Covid. Although I know many people who have had it with few long-term symptoms, I know many who didn’t fare so well. I have a niece who it nearly killed, and a close cousin who I just visited a month ago in Idaho – and is now dead. Covid killed my son’s sister-in-law. And they say that this Delta variant can be much worse than the other iterations of the virus – and it is much more contagious. So please take all the precautions that you can.
As my reader’s know, I’ve been unable to do a lot since January, but I’m getting back at it again. Expect to see a lot more from me.
