South Dakota is raising the fee for getting certified and informational copies of South Dakota birth, death, fetal death, marriage and divorce records.
According to a news release from the South Dakota Department of Health, the new fee will be $15, effective February 5.
Applications and instructions are available at the state vital records office in Pierre, at the various county register of deeds offices and the Department of Health Web site.
