Students do their Family Trees in Bressaucourt, Switzerland

Now and then we get word of a school project where the children are compiling their personal family histories. I just ran childacross an article from Bressaucourt, Switzerland telling about just such a project. Bressaucourt is a municipality in the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura.

Under the direction of the school director and teachers, the Bressaucourt students created family trees of their family. Extensive research was required to make the discoveries. The students also collected old family photos.

Beside this very personal project, the children also studied the history of their village. Their work will be exhibited at the school of Bressaucourt on June 20 & 21.
