According to an article at the hollywoodreporter.com, Lisa Kudrow (formerly with “Friends”) was in Cannes promoting (along with other things), the new NBC series “Who Do You Think You Are?” which will air in primetime starting in January. Seven episodes have already been produced.
The adaptation of BBC documentary series is created/exec produced by Alex Graham along with with Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky. Kudrow, as well as Susan Sarandon and Sarah Jessica Parker are among the celebrities who have their ancestry revealed.
“Who Do You Think You Are?” will be a 42-minute show with commercials. It’s also reported that NBC.com is working on a partnership with Ancestry.com to create a cross-platform interactive Web site to coincide with the television series.
So, is this show ever going to start? I’ve waited almost a year now! It would be a good replacment for the Jay Leno cancelation…
It looks like it’s finally going to happen. See: http://www.genealogyblog.com/?p=7805
