On Sunday, Bill and I drove home from the California Family History Expo, held in Redding, California this last weekend. It was about 785 miles, but we were back in Bountiful by about 8 p.m. There were between 300 and 400 folks at the Expo, including a group that came in Saturday for FHC training. I enjoyed presenting my three lectures, including a new one that I wrote for this Expo, entitled, “Blogs: Reading, Writing, and Research.”
As I noted earlier, I was able to pick up Uncle Merle, and bring him back home. Meeting with the family with whom he was living when he passed away in 2002 was a delightful experience. They are wonderful people, and I’m pleased to include them in my family.
Given another day or two, I should have the rig unpacked, paperwork processed and be back to regular blogging…
Stay tuned.
