AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is pleased to announce the reappointment of chairman Sandra J. Pickett of Liberty, Martha Doty Freeman of Austin and Larry G. Holt of College Station, to its governing board. Governor Rick Perry has reappointed them to a six-year term to expire on September 28, 2015.
State Representative John Otto swore in the commissioners. He delivered the oath of office to Pickett, Freeman and Holt at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission meeting held at the Sam Houston Regional Library and Research Center in Liberty on Monday, October 12.
“I am pleased to be reappointed as chair of the commission,” said Pickett. “I look forward to working with my fellow commissioners and the fine staff of TSLAC to advance the mission of our agency and state.”
