I spent the weekend in Virginia Beach, Virginia, speaking to the Virginia Beach Genealogical Society.
I want to publicly thank Kathleen Davis, Bill Isaacs, and Dave Patterson for taking such great care of me all weekend. After my arrival on Friday, Isaacs, and the Pattersons took me to the “beach” and then on to dinner.
I spent the next day lecturing, then dinner again with about a dozen of the seminar-folks, flying home on Sunday.
Thank you for coming to the east coast, imparting your wisdom, sharing your pleasing personality and publications with Virginia Beach Genealogical Society. Tidewater Virginia and folks from points well beyond are richer for the experience. We loved hosting you, Leland. Your last name “Might Slur” pronunciation stays with us.
Leland the pleasure was all ours…you did an outstanding job and everyone spoke of you highly…enjoyed both meals with you and our rides together..look forward to seeing you again.
Bill
