A Content Acquisitionist is a consultative-sales and business development role working within the U.S. Content Acquisition team to bring a steady stream of high-value historical records to Ancestry.com members in the U.S. and around the world.

Key aspects of the role include 1) supporting U.S. content acquisition activities by developing and managing relationships with archives, libraries, government institutions and other content owners, 2) negotiating contract terms for record access and securing agreements with new partners and content owners, and 3) coordinating with relevant teams throughout the business to ensure effective launches of newly acquired record collections. Responsible to deliver results that meet quarterly/annual targets in an assigned geographic territory.

This position is based in Provo, Utah with exceptions for highly-qualified candidates to work remotely elsewhere in the United States.
