Although we are making plans to head out soon for the FGS Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee, we’re also preparing for the Family History Expo, to be held at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah (yes – I know it’s called the Salt Lake Expo, because Salt Lake is more easily identifiable than Sandy for out-of-state folks).
The expo will be held on August 27 & 28, and should be another terrific one. We’re certainly looking forward to it. Yours Truly is on the program twice – and Family Roots Publishing is exhibiting, so we’ll stay busy.
My freind, Tom Kemp, is the keynote speaker Friday Morning. The Expo has as many as 11 classes all running simultaneously – so deciding on which class to attend can be a challenge!
My classes are as follows:
- The Witness: Can Your Ancestors’ Associates Help Your Research?
- State and Territorial Censuses & Census Substitutes of the Western States.
